5th Annual TRANSATLANTIC EDUCATION LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE (TELE) 2017
EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS LEADERS FROM
FINLAND and GEORGIA MEET in ATLANTA, GEORGIA
October 13, 2017, Atlanta, Georgia - SMART
Education Exchange (SEE) --- Education,
Government, and Business Leaders from Finland
and Georgia, met in Atlanta to exchange critical
information about K-12 Education.
The first Lady Mrs. Deal, hosted an intimate
breakfast at the Governor’s Mansion with the goal of
learning about Finland’s approach to in K-12
education and hearing an update on the Finland-
Georgia Education Exchange.

Southeast launched K-12 Education Initiative in
2012, to bring together Educators, Policy Makers,
and Business Leaders, across the state of Georgia.
We bring together Leaders from Private and Public
sector, to share about K-12 Education challenges
and opportunities. We believe that Teacher
Development and Training can be and must be at
the centre of the 21st Century Education and

Education trade mission from the state of Georgia to
Finland, was scheduled for April 2018, cloud-based
SLE teacher exchange will launch Q1 2018, and
education trade mission from Finland to Georgia is
scheduled for October 2018.
