A cracking idea for an Easter craft!
Duplo printed Easter cards
Duplo and painting are two of my daughter
Isla's favourite things. So when I suggested to
her that we combine the two to make some
Easter cards, it was instantly popular.
Printmaking is always a big hit with my nearly
three-year-old, and this method of stamping
with Duplo bricks was no different. Quick to
do, simple enough that she can do it independently, and looks good!
You will need:
Duplo bricks – I just used the 8hole blocks, but a variety of sizes
would be good.
Paint - I used poster paint from
Early Learning Centre
Coloured card or paper
Blank cards
Simply stamp all over the sheets of paper or card with the Duplo and
paint, and then leave to dry. Cut out an egg shape (I drew around an
egg shaped biscuit cutter) and stick it on to the blank card. Voila!
Instead of making cards, why not string up a garland of stamped egg
shapes to create some Easter bunting? Or create an Easter tree by
hanging small egg shapes from a branch in a vase.
