SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! By: Rachel Snow Justine Marie Pickar aka Jesse, Beans, Beaner, or Justiner Beaner was born on July 18, 1998. Her hometown is Litchfield. and this year she is a senior at Litchfield Public School. Justine loves listening to country and pop, and her favorite music artists are Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt. Her favorite books are from the Dollanganger Series by V.C. Andrews, and her favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. Paul Wesley and Scott Eastwood are her favorite actors, and the Fast and Furious series are her favorite movies. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are her favorite TV shows. Justine’s favorite foods are her dad’s homemade enchiladas and her mom’s homemade lasagna. Her favorite drink, color, animal, and sport are Mountain Dew, purple, dogs, and track. Her most prized possession is a stuffed calf given to her when she was born. The fact that her laugh is contagious is what’s unique about her. Her favorite school memory was when Hamilton attempted to jump over the lowered volleyball net and his foot got caught and he fell. As a pastime, she loves to walk with her friends and shop at the Hilltop Mall. Her favorite subjects are Journalism and Photography, and Mrs. Hunt and Mrs. Varah are her favorite teachers. The extracurricular activities she participates in are: Volleyball, Basketball, Track, One Act, and FBLA. The classes Justine is taking this year are: Pottery, College Algebra, Government, Career Planning/Personal Finance, English, Pre-Calculus, Game Design/Robotics, Journalism, and Sociology/Psychology. After high school she plans to attend Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte or Central Community College in Hastings for Graphic Design and Photography. Her favorite quote is “Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you” ~Loretta Young. Are you talented? Come prove it at the Talent Show on March 31st @5:00 pm in the “old gym” at LPS! Students will be proving their talent and making the community proud!
