Litchfield Chapter of FBLA News & Updates
Although school has been on break, the Litchfield Chapter of FBLA has been busy this summer.
FBLA played a part in the activities held during Old Settler’s July 8-10th, hosting a teen dance on Friday
night, kid’s games and water fun in the park on Saturday, and BINGO games on Sunday afternoon. We had
a great time participating, fundraising, and gaining some community service hours. We’d like to thank the
Litchfield Community Club for their hard work and dedication to making Old Settler’s happen, and
Litchfield community members and businesses for their support of all that FBLA does. Thank you all for
coming out to show your support- we plan to make our participation in Old Settler’s an ongoing tradition,
and we hope to see you out next summer!
As a part of our annual tradition of creating and distributing planners for Ansley-Litchfield Spartan and
school events, FBLA officers have also been out and about this summer selling advertisement space to area
businesses. We hope to have our planners printed up soon, and they will be available for purchase from any
FBLA member, the school office, at home games, and at the Town & Country Bank in Litchfield.
FBLA will be recruiting members soon! We will also be allowing students in junior high (7-8th grade) the
opportunity to join FBLA in our middle-level chapter this year, so keep your eyes open for information at
the beginning of the school year! FBLA is a great way to experience many different careers, network, and
learn some valuable skills that are applicable to many areas of life. We also have a lot of fun!
Some fun events we hope to host this year include: Food, book, and toy drives, a banana split party,
Valentine’s babysitting and fundraisers, Reach Out & Read, business tours, American Enterprise Day,
Spartan Store, FBLA Week, and much more!
