Principal’s Report SEPTEMBER 2016 We have finished most of the MAPS testing this week. We still have a handful of students that were absent that have to make up. This would be the first year with students using their own computers so the format was different than in the past when all went to a lab. For most part it went well. Talking about adjustment that need to be made. The staff did great job of helping with and proctoring the test. The elementary had their state fair field trip on September 1st. The elementary teachers and Mr. Blauvelt made it a success. Mr. Johnson took some FFA students to Husker Harvest Days. Professional Development on Friday. Lot of collaboration on what we’ve been doing to improve student writing and strategies going forward. Review of 6-trait writing. Plus, had follow up of what technology implementations teachers have been using in the classroom. Kind of a follow up of the Technology workshop that Mr. and Mrs. Moser put on before school.
