Fall is in the air!
Jacob Swearingen, Christopher Paitz, John Zimmer, and Dallas Rohde attended the Diesel Career fair in Hastings on
October 5th. There were over 20 businesses and college representatives available for these students to ask questions.
We received a tour of campus as well as the diesel building. Meghan Krazter and Tyren Howard attended the UNK
Health Fair on October 11th. They had the opportunity to tour the UNK Wellness area as well as hear from UNK
alumni who are currently working in their health professions. We were given information about scholarships as well

celebrated Red Ribbon Week, October 23 to October 26th. Put a lid on drugs was Monday’s Theme; Tuesday was
Spirit Day; Wednesday was “Boot out Drugs” and Thursday was Red Day to celebrate being drug free.
