Small Town Times May 2018 Sports Track Season Going Strong By: Siarah Willenberg This year’s track season is still going on and the athletes have some goals that they want to accomplish before District Track comes around. As a team their goal is to get to the State Track Meet in Omaha. So far the team has reached multiple personal records and con- tinues to improve. Our students still have goals they’d like the meet. Dallas Rhode wants to jump 38ft in Triple Jump. John Zimmer wants to jump 20ft in long jump and run the open 100 in 11.3 seconds. Nam would like to run the open 100 in 11.5 seconds, Kyle Betke wants to throw 100ft in discus, while Shelby Behmorwohld re- spectively wants to throw 40ft in discus. Christopher Patiz has set the goal to run the 100 Hurdles in 15.6 seconds. Lastly, Rilee Howard wants to throw 27ft in shot put. Good luck with the rest of the season and reach your goals!
