April Superintendent Report Litchfield Public Schools April 15, 2019 Policy Updates – 2nd Reading for Policy 716.00 & 717.00 716.00-“ESSA Non-Regulatory Business Requirements” & 717.00-“Disposal of Property Under Federal Grants” Motion: Recommend that the board adopts the Policy 716.00 and 717.00. ESU 10 ESSA Title I Cooperative Agreement Cooperative agreement with ESU 10 to participate in eh Title I Cooperative. Motion: Recommend to participate in the ESU 10 Title I Cooperative. Approval of Local Substitute Teacher Mariah Sekutera has put an application in to become a local substitute teacher. She has been a Para and coach for us already. She has also agree to be assistant coach again for us in both volleyball and girls basketball. Motion: Recommend that we approve local substitute teaching certificate for Mariah Sekutera. Fort Kearny Conference The Fort Kearny Conference had their second reading and have accepted Litchfield Schools and the Ansley-Litchfield COOP to be members of the conference starting in 2019-2020 school year. Motion: Recommend that we officially accept the invite and join the Fort Kearny Conference for the 2019-2020 school year. Personnel Update Spanish position and coaching Computer Plan for 2019-2020 and Beyond Brian and Jeralynn Moser will be here to present to the board proposal for our 1 to 1 computer program. Our 3-year lease for the current computers expires at the end of this year. I have attached the two proposal that the Moser’s will be discussing at the board meeting Road Bids Update Long Range Planning: Building and Grounds Would like the discussion of prioritizing and looking at timeframe to more adequately plan and budget for future projects. These are some project that have been discussed. Do we want to commit to any and give a timeframe?  Long Range tabulation for Building and Grounds improvements. Board Evaluation
