Students Involved in Many Activities

Some of the Litchfield students have been extra busy with activities that have been go-
ing on this school year. Chloe Ellison, Faith Heapy, Sydnee Sweley, Christopher Patiz,
Calvin Finley, Gavin Cole, and Caden Holm have been active in 3 sports, Speech, One-
Act, Quizbowl, and Band/Choir. In addition to these activities, all of these students are
going to state for either FFA or FBLA to serve as an officer in one of these student organizations. They do
this because they want to be involved with our school. It is so nice to see kids that want to go above and
beyond do these extra activities as it is a representation of our student body involvement. Being involved
in extra-curricular activities takes extra time after the school day ends with additional commitments on
weekends and evenings for competitions, practice, and leadership building events. Being involved in activi-
ties also helps these students build leadership skills, responsibility, time management, and teamwork skills.
Some of these students have achieved additional honors in these events like Christopher earning his State
FFA Degree; Chloe reaching finals and placing in District Speech, and Gavin being a District Champion in
FFA. We want to thank these students for their extra efforts and participation to lead
Litchfield School activities.
