MILK BREAK
Litchfield Public School offers an extra milk break during the school day for grades PK-6th. If you wish
for your child to take part in the program, the milk break price for each semester will be $35.00, which is
approximately $.39 per day. Milk is paid for by the semester. Pre-K price per semester will be $26.00
due to their shorter schedule.
1 st Semester Payment of $35.00 (K-6 th ) or $26.00 (Pre-K) is due by September 4, 2017
2 nd Semester Payment of $35.00 (K-6 th ) or $26.00 (Pre-K) is due by January 5, 2018
Milk provided for milk breaks is not a part of the Free and Reduced Meal Program.
PHYSICALS
Just a reminder, please make sure all student physicals for incoming Kindergarten and 7 th grade students are
competed and submitted to the central office by the first day of school. This is a state requirement. Also, any
student participating in High School sports needs to have a sports physical before they can participate. The
form for physicals is included in this newsletter and can be found online at litchfieldpublicschools.org
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Parents and PK-6 th students are invited to enjoy a cool treat after school on Friday, August 18 th from
2:17-3:00 pm at our ice cream social. We would love to have you come to see what we do in the program.
Applications for participation in the program will be included with the initial school paperwork.
The After School Program officially opens on Monday, August 21 st .
