A Goodbye from Retiring Superintendent, Dr. Scott Maline:
A Tribute and Thank You to a Wonderful Community and School System
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our students, staff, board of education, and
community members for allowing me to be a part of this special school district these past 8
years. My experience as superintendent of schools has been a wonderful and challenging
experience. I want to especially thank all of the board members for whom I have served for
their support, encouragement, and hard work in helping make many improvements to our
school. Those could not have occurred in the district without their support and important
decision making.
This little town is a special place to educate children. People truly care about each other and
want the very best for students, teachers and their school. I am so proud to have served
Litchfield Public Schools this past 8 years. You all have touched my life forever and I will miss
you as I move forward in retirement and my life’s next challenges and ambitions.
Bless you all, and I will be a proud Spartan fan forever!
Sincerely,
Dr. Scott Maline
