Reading at all ages is great. Did you know it’s important
to read stories to children? Children are exposed to new
words which improves their vocabulary. Being read to
also improves understanding listening and how things
work. According to whytoread.com, reading is great for a
number of other reasons, too!

Reading may feel time-consuming but it’s worth it. When
you read you tend to feel better about yourself and have a
sense of accomplishment. Have you considered setting a
certain amount of time (outside of school) to read every
day? When you read you’re able to pause everything and
go on different “adventures” and feel as if you’re in
someone else’s shoes. What books will you try reading
soon?
