Litchfield Chapter of FBLA News & Updates
The Litchfield Chapter of FBLA has been busy finishing up projects and making submission for State Leadership Conference( SLC)! It has been our goal this year to obtain all available ribbons at SLC and to achieve Diamond Chapter status. These awards are not only something to be proud of while at SLC, but an opportunity to expand our chapter’ s outreach and work more closely with business concepts.
As a part of this outreach, FBLA members attended a business tour of the Grand Island Humane Society. We learned some of the key differences between a non-profit business entity and a for-profit one. We saw the inner workings of the facilities, and, of course, we met quite a few animals. Our tour was facilitated by the shelter manager, Lacey Bonner.
We also held our annual Valentine’ s Day Kid’ s Fun Day on Saturday, February 18 th. We watched movies, played games, and ate pizza. We thank the community for their support of our program and for trusting us with your children. We had a great time and can’ t wait to do it again next year!
Our chapter is proud of the support we gain from the community and excited to take opportunities to give back whenever possible. If you would like the assistance of the Litchfield Chapter of FBLA for your planned community service or business project please let us know by emailing our adviser, Mrs. Hunt, at: nikia. hunt @ litchfieldps. org OR( 308) 870-4540( personal cell)
