Homemade for Christmas By: Amanda McClain Gifts are a big part of Christmas to many, but how does a store-bought gift compare to a homemade one? Homemade gifts are easy and simple to do. If someone were to open a homemade gift, they would know that you took the time to think of what they really like or something that would make them smile. The giver was creative and really thought out the gift. If someone were to open a store-bought gift they would know that you might lack creativity; it might seem that they just took the easy route. Some people may have a hard time thinking of homemade gifts, but now you can go on an app called “Pinterest.” This app gives you many ideas on homemade gifts and step to step on their way to do it, but you can change it and do it yourself. Store bought gifts are not wrong in anyway but try expressing your creativity by making a homemade gift this year! As such, November 11, 1918 is generally regarded as the end of the “war to end all wars.” Litchfield Public School hosted a Veteran’s Day program on Friday, November 11th at 10:20 am in the Litchfield Spartan Gymnasium. They sang songs and watched videos about Veteran’s Day. Lunch was provided and military veterans and their families were invited. Students were honored and proud to have the Veteran’s Day program. 3
