SUB-DISTRICTS AND DISTRICTS � A-L beat Pleasanton ( 25-19 , 25-20 , 25-17 ) � A-L beat South Loup ( 25-19 , 19-25 , 25-14 , 25-19 ) � A-L came back from being two sets down to beat Alma and becoming the D1-5
District Champions ( 15-25 , 18-25 , 26-24 , 25-18 , 15-10 )
STATE �
A-L won the first set then lost the next three , losing to Elgin Public / Pope John in the first round of the State Tournament ( 25-23 , 25-16 , 25-20 , 25-21 )
The volleyball team had a very successful season even though they came up short at the State Tournament . Since October 15 th the Spartans had won 14 of their 15 final games .
BASKETBALL
The juice scrimmages were held on Monday , October 21 st in the Litchfield Spartan gym . Both teams showed potential of the upcoming season . The girls and boys with both play their first games against Amherst , in Amherst on December 2nd , at 4:30 , 6 , and 7:30 .
WRESTLING
The first wrestling meet is scheduled for December 2 nd which is the Ravenna Invite at 1PM .
