SUB-DISTRICTS AND DISTRICTS � A-L beat Pleasanton( 25-19, 25-20, 25-17) � A-L beat South Loup( 25-19, 19-25, 25-14, 25-19) � A-L came back from being two sets down to beat Alma and becoming the D1-5
District Champions( 15-25, 18-25, 26-24, 25-18, 15-10)
STATE �
A-L won the first set then lost the next three, losing to Elgin Public / Pope John in the first round of the State Tournament( 25-23, 25-16, 25-20, 25-21)
The volleyball team had a very successful season even though they came up short at the State Tournament. Since October 15 th the Spartans had won 14 of their 15 final games.
BASKETBALL
The juice scrimmages were held on Monday, October 21 st in the Litchfield Spartan gym. Both teams showed potential of the upcoming season. The girls and boys with both play their first games against Amherst, in Amherst on December 2nd, at 4:30, 6, and 7:30.
WRESTLING
The first wrestling meet is scheduled for December 2 nd which is the Ravenna Invite at 1PM.
