SEEKING HOST FAMILIES
Would you like to learn more about another country without leaving home?
I am looking for families, couples, and singles to host high school aged foreign exchange students for the 2017-
2018 school year. Student American International and ERDT/Share are committed to finding great homes for
wonderful students who wish to “Live a lifetime in a year!”
Our students come with their own spending money, they are covered by their own insurance, are well-
educated, and speak fluent English. Hosting is a way to give back to the world from the comfort of your own
home.

Greenhouse Seeking Student Workers
The Trotter Greenhouse is looking for students interested in participating in a new summer program currently being
developed for Litchfield Public Schools. Duties will vary from day to day, but focus on fruit and vegetable
production in the gardens. Those interested should be age 8 and up and willing to volunteer mornings or afternoons
two to three days a week. While this is a volunteer program, hours will be tracked and a reward will be established.
Duties will vary from day to day but will provide the students with knowledge of fruit and vegetable production as
well as maintenance in a business atmosphere. It will be a great opportunity for the students to learn valuable life
skills, learn how a business functions and work together to achieve goals.
If interested, please contact Gary Lawrence at the Trotter Greenhouse. 308-446-2250
Farm to School Beef Program
The students continue to enjoy the locally
raised beef donated by Gary and Diane
Feldman for the Farm to School lunch
program. We are always willing to speak to
anyone that would like to learn more about
the program as well as anyone that might be
interested in donating.
For more information, please contact Brian
Johnson at the school. 308-446-2244
