OBITUARIES
Jolene’s symptoms returned and in early December 2013 she
was admitted into the hospital and had surgery, which revealed new tumor growth. Jolene was given news that her
cancer spread and there was no further medical interventions
that could be offered to cure her. It was her wish to take her
family back home to South Africa so they can surround themselves with the love and support of their family.
Thanks to the Medical Benevolent Society and donors from
around the world, Jolene was able to spend almost two months
at home surrounded by her friends and family. Jolene touched
many lives all over the world through her career as a physician,
saving countless lives and witnessing many miracles .
From diagnosis and up until her passing, Jolene continued to
show unshakable faith, strength and bravery. Jolene is a true
testament to the strength of the human spirit.

Dr. Drew Moulden
Dr. Drew Moulden passed away in November, 2013. Dr. Moulden received his MD from McMaster University in Hamilton in
2000. Prior to his residency in Regina, Dr. Moulden spent time
as a psychiatry resident at the University of Toronto.
