Inventor Karlis Noel of Laborie is the main
feature in this issue and we should all be
proud of his achievement: solving a need
by converting sea water to pure drinking
water by using the special desalinator he
invented. Such enterprising spirit should
be applauded, especially since Noel, who
has always had a passion for science,
was seldom the most brilliant student in
academics at school.
