EDITORIAL December is usually a month - long break during which Semester 1 students have their Rural and AMC internships, while the students of the remaining years look for internships outside and it was no different this year! As the winds of January blew past us bringing in the New Year, the month was given a boost by the participation of our students of SLS in the Jaipur Literature Festival, followed by SPIC Macay's showcase of the renowned Ronu Majumdar as a guest in PDPU. Further along, SLS was proud to be pioneering a Mass Communication club while heading for a visit by the NAAC at our campus which was a complete success as we were accredited an A for the performance. With the massive event of Vibrant Gujarat just next door, SLS was proud to have students volunteering for it and had also put an IIC stall (no. 125). While the seniors contributed their share on that frontier, the batch of SLS'16 was being commenced into the AMC mission of 'Swacchh Bharat' as a part of their 1st year internship. Other activities in the month of January include the huge success of the celebration of our Republic day on January 26th, 2017 in which the NCC cadets were the highlight of the ceremony and the BSc. Laboratory project. Along with that, we had a Road Safety and trafc campaign in which the students of SLS participated enthusiastically. And the month was topped off with the Sacred Heart University's lecture by Dr. Ross. 1
