miles a day and you definitely should not
force yourself into a strict diet. Instead,
find the things you can do that you will also
enjoy. All in all, start making decisions with
your end-goal centered on how this action
will make you feel. Putting your mental
well-being first will be the first step to being
able to love yourself and love your body.
If you feel good about what you are doing
and the choices that you are making, then
you will be more resilient to the negative
thoughts we often think about ourselves.
We are, in the end, our own worst critic. If
we could get rid of the judgement that we
have toward ourselves, then we are already
in a better situation than we began with.
If anything, know that you should not
have to miss out on the fun of life because
you are held captive in your view of your
body. To be honest, sometimes it is really
hard to be body positive and when you’re
at your low, there seems to be no way out
of it. It’s okay to have off days and it’s
okay to not feel 100% all the time. But if
you’re at the point where you are obsessing
so much over your body image that it
invades every thought you have, then there
needs to be change. You deserve to love
yourself as much as you deserve to be able
to experience life at its fullest.
