The Art of Living à la Française Fresh from creating the timelessly elegant aesthetics of the celebrated Parisian haunt Victoria 1836, Lavoine has collaborated with award-winning architect Vincent Bastie to breathe new life into the 19th-century heritage structure that houses Le Roch. Informed by Lavoine’s signature design motifs of clean lines, noble materials, and uncluttered spaces, the public areas and guest rooms promote a new art of living à la Française. “Le Roch reflects the real soul of the neighborhood where it stands: a village atmosphere where the Parisian art de vivre retains a real feel at home feeling”, says Lavoine of the hotel’s concept.
The interiors of Le Roch are defined by a sot, pastel-hued palette of sage, chartreuse, and milky green, and natural, authentic materials. From Carrera marble to solid walnut wood flooring, Kaldewei bathtubs and basins to Ressource paints, and furniture made by Cassina—as well as custom pieces designed by Lavoine herself—the hotel has been elegantly appointed with a discerning eye to detail and balance.
