Sleeves Magazine October 2016 | Page 5

Letter from the Editor Dear Readers, Octoberfest will be over soon. The joy of meeting young people who are so enthusiastic to be photographed and at the same time allow me have their shots be published in our magazine is remarkable. Would you believe that there has been a sudden increase in the number of readers because of that? The youngsters tell their friends, moms and dads, and school mates: Gee, I am in the magazine! Though it can be exhausting to go around with a heavy camera equipment, I just want some uniqueness by adding some highlights of the beer festival. After all, we are based in Munich. Some of you may not be familiar yet with our cover boy, Chris Hanisch. He is a fashion blogger who is now based in Munich and he seems to be enjoying the attention he gets from the locals. I invited him over to my office for a shooting and working with him was such a great pleasure. We will be seeing each other more often in the upcoming fashion events in Munich, that is for sure. Chris, I can only be proud of you! You rock! Folks, Oliver Spencer is again featured for two consecutive months in Sleeves but this time it is about the 'Buy Now' Catwalk Show, his collaboration with GQ and Vero. I simply like his designs. And to the girls who keep enjoying our magazine, we have Anhha dresses and Camilla Elphick shoes for you. We make no mistakes in bringing you the best and you will sure love their collections. For the boys who have a touch of class, Ettinger would be a perfect brand for you. Finally I met the people from Design Hotels who invited me and my friend Gudrun D. during the event held at Film Casino near Odeonsplatz three weeks ago. For those who do not know where to find excellent stylish hotels, go and visit their website. Or you can check out the section "Travel Insight" where we showcase their member hotels so you get a bit of an introduction to their network. Enjoy reading! And please send us your comments. Cheers, Joel Jose Emilio (Joel) de Veyra Sleeves Magazine
