How do you combat loud music? What does your Ear-Doctor advise you? This is indeed a critical issue, but fortunately, I've got no problems . I know some colleagues who have problems , even if they do not admit it … haha. :D If one is exposed every weekend to loud music, that's a burden for the ears . That's why I can deal well with this issue and I bought a specially fitted hearing protection for musicians . This works quite well. It reduces the volume but the sound does not change. But sometimes it is enough even to turn the monitor box quieter or to increase the volume during the transition . Photo: Jose Emilio de Veyra Any famous DJ you admire? Hmm I think my favorite DJ is from Germany and his name is Eskei83. His skills are awesome. What music do you enjoy playing? My main-genre is black music. This is the type of music I play most of the time thus I 'm booked most of the time. But if it is possible, I play sometimes other genres . For example, charts or electronic music . I like this, because it's a nice variety of HipHop music . It is also challenging when you have to switch between genres What are the exciting moments you enjoy as a DJ? I think every moment i am on stage and playing my set is exciting for me. I enjoy it when I play my music and the people celebrating it . That's the best feedback you can get. Are there moments that can be annoying when you are working in a club? Actually, there haven't been any bad incidents yet . Of course, it sometimes happens that someone drunk wants to hear a song and relentlessly trying to impose on you to play even if it does not fit. But this is also one of the skills of the DJ to handle the situation. Technical problems are annoying too, but fortunately this happen very rarely . Sleeves Magazine
