Born in Barcelona,1967.
Studied Fine Arts.
Finished Fashion Design
at EATM,Barcelona. Lives
and works in Barcelona.
Created his own
eponymous label in 1996,
a menswear collection. It
is marketed via
showrooms and
presented as a fashion
show in Madrid and
Barcelona. In 2003 he
began working as
creative director for the
Armand Basi One
Menswear collection,
presented in Paris in
2007. In 2006 he began
the “Bespoke” Project of
made-to-measure
tailoring. In 2007 he
created Abril Studio,
creative concepts for
fashion projects. Started
the new line “Uniformed
By” - a range of luxury
uniforms. Taught classes
and workshops in various
design schools, including
IED,ESDI, FELI & Elisava.
Created costumes for
perfomances such as
theatre and opera. Worked
as an external fashion
consultant and art director.
In 1991 he won first prize in
the Gaudi New Designers
contest. In 2004 he was
awarded the GQ prize for
best Menswear Designer.
In 2008 he received the
“Barcelona Es Moda”
award for best designer.
