and production manager for different
clients where I had the opportunity to
see the industry from the inside and
how it works in real life.
This is how I learnt about the process of
creating a collection from its early
stages until it’s done and can be shown
on the catwalk.
Even though I have worked for big
firms, I couldn’t give my best, I needed
a mentor who could see that I had
much more to give. When I decided to
launch my brand, YEAGOB, it was when
I really saw all the hard work as I had no
one above me to help me make the
important decisions. It has been, for
me, a way to complete my training in
the fashion world and it will hopefully
offer me a brighter future.
WHERE AND WHAT DID YOU DO IN THE
FASHION WORLD PREVIOUSLY?
I worked as a designer for TitisClothing
where I first started my internship, but I
ended up working with them for a year
and a half until I decided to launch my
own brand. TitisClothing has been in
the business for more than 10 years and
has more than 200 sales points around
the world. There I could not only design
but get to know how the business
works from the inside, I followed the
whole creative processes of the
collections. I worked for other brands as
well as a production manager and for
other similar categories in which
I managed to learn quite a lot about
dressmaking, which has been very
useful for my first collection.
The type of man that
I have in mind when
I design is one who is
daring and creative.
WHAT/WHO IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR
INSPIRATION?
Inspiration for me is anywhere and
everywhere. I once was inspired by an
abandoned building! I always tend to
inspire myself with everything
decadent, things in ruins, weird
structures, the cold and
