ROCK VAULT 2016/17 RECIPIENTS
The Rock Vault installation will be located in the Designer Showrooms at Brewer Street Car Park
during London Fashion Week, 16th – 20th September 2016, and will preview the latest collections of
newcomers Daou Jewellery and Frances Wadsworth Jones, who join existing recipients
COMPLETEDWORKS, Lily Kamper, Rachel Boston and Shimell & Madden.
COMPLETEDWORKS
About: COMPLETEDWORKS is a fine jewellery brand based in London and founded in 2013 by
siblings Anna and Mark Jewsbury. Artistic Director Anna Jewsbury is responsible for developing
collections and defining the brand’s vision and image.
Materials & Design: Produced in 18ct gold, Anna explains that ‘the Fluid collection is an exploration
into the mutability of forms. The pieces were first created on a larger scale from lengths of rolled clay
that were manipulated and kneaded by hand. The imperfections and displacements of form are
entirely intentional.’

DAOU JEWELLERY
About: Dalia Daou is the third generation designer and director now reviving Daou Jewellery.
Founded in 1930, Daou has been worn by the likes of Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly and was
honoured with a royal appointment. Dalia combines her fine jewellery heritage with a post-graduate
Physics degree and training at Central Saint Martins and the Gemological Institute of America.
Materials & Design: Daou jewellery is formed in 18ct solid white, yellow and rose gold, uses precious
and semi-precious stones and is made to the highest quality in London and Italy. Dalia describes her
new season designs as ‘a little more avant-garde and Phoenix-inspired moving to more feminine
forms and with a return to kaleidoscope coloured stones.’

FRANCES WADSWORTH JONES
About: After completing her degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery at Glasgow School of Art,
Frances returned to her home town, London, to study at the Royal College of Art where she
graduated with both the CONRAN Foundation Award and the International Marzee Graduation Prize.
Materials & Design: Frances’ collections have been inspired by London pigeons, destructed pearls
and insects. For her latest Thieves collection ‘traditional forms are given a surreal twist, as tiny
golden ants threaten to dismantle the jewellery and run away with the glittering gems’.
