Wrangler FW16: innovations, trends and inspiration Wrangler continues to push the boundaries in FW16 with the introduction of Body Bespoke for women, a forward thinking collection that looks equally flattering in every size. Each size was looked at individually so each woman could have the perfect fitting jeans. This latest addition comes in two new fits: High Skinny and High Slim. Active Ready, a line where style and comfort are never compromised, sees the continuation of on-trend Jogging Jeans for both women and men. For men the Active Ready range also welcomes the innovative Xtra Stretch fabric for men on the move; a rough look with a comfortable feel. Other performance denim continuations in the men’s collection can be found in Coolmax ® (Active Ready), Rain Ready and Cold Ready. In the FW16 women’s collection we find retro 70s styling, rich floral embellishments and Wrangler’s homage to Japanese craftsmanship with the introduction of patchwork and hand-woven patterns and stitching. In time for the party season, Wrangler adds a personal interpretation to the glamorous denim catwalk trend with subtle sequin work and splashes of gold and black on jeans and tops. The FW16 men’s collection is inspired by a motorcycle trip that begins in the shining lights of the city. Refined styling is visible with the reintroduction of selvedge in a chino style, which is paired with Wrangler’s new water-resistant trench coat to demonstrate a perfect blend of fashion and function. A trend for rugged coziness continues to influence the line with crew neck quilted sweaters in comfortable marls introduced along with soft-cotton Puffa jackets in washed out colors. Wrangler FW16 | 1
