SUNDAY 1st XI REPORT 2016 Ben Lambert The 2016 season was a season filled with ups and downs for the Sunday first team, with a varied side throughout; the team did well to finish third in the league, only 9 points away from top of the table, Lindum. However the season showed promise as players from the junior section such as Luca Bucci and Sam Baxter were able to break into the side and make a real impact, which bodes well for the future. Going on to next season we will be competing at the top again hoping for a bit more consistency and trying to make it 2 Premier Division titles in 3 years whilst bringing junior player through the ranks and giving them experience of good standard senior cricket.
