As the 2016 magazine goes to press it is with great sadness that we report the sad
loss of Barry Poston who after a long illness died on 9th April 2016. A great stalwart
of the club, he was 2nd XI captain for five years from 1962 to 1966, was chairman of
the ground committee for many years and the general committee for some 20 years.
He was a valued sponsor of the club professional and junior under 15 team. He was
a regular attendee at club matches and will be sadly missed by many past players
and friends at the club.
