She said studying abroad will feel very exciting and nerve-wracking because of culture shock. However, she has decided to stay in China for college because it is one of the safest countries during COVID. She is willing to take classes in person here, but she prefers to take online courses if she goes abroad.
“ My tips would be to follow your heart and think thoroughly. College will affect your future career, so you have to think about what kind of college you’ re going to. Go on school websites or the physical school to visit.”

He said he is eager to go abroad; however, unsure if he will during his freshman year.
He is hesitant to go to countries with high-cases of COVID and hopes to get into a university in China, such as DKU or NYU Shanghai, to prevent himself from e-learning.

She thinks going abroad will feel fresh since it will be her first time leaving her family and being alone. She is also excited because she will get to know better about other countries.
She hopes that the place she ends up going is stable in handling the pandemic since she wants to be in class in person; she would like to make new friends physically rather than online friends.
“ While choosing a major, make sure that you are into it, don’ t ask which one is easier. Nothing will be easy in university, and it will be stricter than in high school.”
