Since the infection rate of Covid-19 increased rapidly worldwide, countries like China, Russia, and United States started to develop vaccines to reduce the impact of the pandemic. As vaccine developments succeeded in China in the last December of 2020, people expect to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Many regulations and restrictions are part of the process.
Who can get vaccinated at the moment? As of right now, the vaccine is not available for all citizens. The only people who are allowed to take the vaccine are medical staff, teachers, workers going abroad, and people who work in crowded public areas.
Precautions: To get vaccinated, citizens must be between 18 to 59 years old. If someone has a fever, any severe diseases, or is allergic to any vaccine substances, they cannot get jabbed. Pregnant women and lactating women cannot get the vaccination.
Restrictions before and after getting the vaccination: Before getting the vaccination, the citizens need to have enough rest; they cannot drink alcohol, eat anything spicy, or eat seafood. They should have a light meal and be hydrated.
The Chinese government stated that the SinoVac and SinoPharm vaccines are available, and require two shots with an interval of at least 14 days. After getting the vaccination, recipients are required to stay at the clinic for 30 minutes for observation.
SinoPharm was approved in China in December 31, 2020.
SinoVac was approved in China in February 22 for emergency use.
