Basketballers Get Ready for the Fall Season

T
he SLAS basketball season starts this fall, and
students have been preparing by practicing on
their own before and after school. Tryouts begin after
the October break. Mr. Rodney will coach the boys’
middle and high school basketball teams. Coach
Jazmine and Mr. Jamal will coach the girls’ middle
and high school teams.
Assistant Principal Mr. Jamal, Head Coach for the
girl’s basketball team, said that the girls team will
have try-outs this year.
The toughest opponents this year are already being
