Superstitions Make Us Culturally Unique

facts because of cultural influences. Supersti-
tious beliefs vary by culture. In China there is the be-
lief in object balance called feng shui and in western
cultures, many people believe in astrology.
Feng shui might not be so popular at school, but it
is practiced by many Chinese people influenced by
their ancestors. In this practice, they place their fur-

example, they place specific plants to attract money.
