Before going to the hotel , Ms . Samantha was sent to a hospital , and she stayed there for four days , where she had two COVID tests and one CT scan .
She said that the hospital ’ s food was under a low condition , however , the food in the quarantined hotel was nice .
After the four days , an ambulance took Ms . Samantha to the quarantine hotel , which cost 350 RMB per night and did not allow food delivery orders . “ Comparing to others that I have seen , mine was very big and spacious ,” she said .
The only difficulty that Mr . McBroom faced was clothes washing since there was no place to dry the clothes .
Overall , the teachers , who were forced to isolate for 14 days , are glad the quarantine ended . Now that the teachers are back on campus , they are thrilled that they no longer need to face the same difficulties again .
The 14-Day Quarantine During the 14 days , Ms . Samantha and Mr . McBroom spent their time either Netflix or teaching .
Both of them said that the nucleic acid test was harder to handle in China than the test they had in their home country .
During their quarantine , they had experienced their own difficulties . Ms . Samantha said , “ The biggest challenge was trying to quarantine at my apartment for seven days since it was empty and being paid for the last eight months … I was not allowed to go to my house because my quarantine started in a different district .”
