After the student council election , the final results read Jin-Young ( Eric ) Park for President , Hee-Su ( Andrew ) Park for Vice President , Ye- Eun ( Aileen ) Kang for Secretary , and Kai-Jing ( Kelly ) Li for Treasurer .

The student council is a group of students who suggest school changes with help from the adult advisors , Ms . Lynn and Mr . Tszyszko .
17 candidates total ran positions in the student council . Two weeks before the election , they started campaigning with their teams and placing posters in the hallway .
Due to COVID-19 , the voting system was unusual compared to previous years . All candidates had to film their speeches and release them on September 28th . These positions were voted by the secondary student body .
Eric Park ( 11th grade ) was voted president , and Andrew Park ( 11th grade ) as vice president . Their jobs are to work with the school administration , plan events , and arrange

meetings for the school community . They promised to install air fresheners in the bathrooms and renew the school uniforms . They have already accomplished installing the air fresheners from the 3rd to 6th floor , and are trying to design a proposal to change the PE uniform .
Because of COVID-19 , the student council cannot sell food and drinks in school , which makes it hard to raise money . Instead , they are gathering recommendations from the students and are planning to sell small things like hair ties , hand warmers , hand sanitizers , and ID straps .
Aileen Kang ( 11th grade ), the author , was elected as the secretary . The author ’ s job is to take notes , organize , and keep the records of the meetings , activities , and programs .
Kelly Li ( 11th grade ) was elected as the treasurer . Her job is to keep track of finances and be responsible for taking care of the money earned by the student council .
