School vacations should be shorter because it would prevent students from forgetting things they learned . Students should keep practicing and learning as much as possible .
Students can indeed study during vacation , but how likely would they do it ? Given the amount of time they have , they will most likely rather play video games than study . Because of this , I strongly believe that students would have a hard time adjusting to their normal schedule .
If the vacations were shortened , students would still have memories of what they ’ ve learned , and they won ’ t have trouble going back to school .
School vacations should be shorter because it decreases forgetfulness , teachers won ’ t have to review as much , and it gets students used to the reality of the working world .
After a long vacation , unfortunately , many students quickly forget their learned subject . For instance , if a student speaks his home language for a long time , they might forget how to speak English in class when they return .
Furthermore , attending school is for students to get used to society . However , if the chance of going to school decreases , they will not benefit as much as students who have a shorter vacation . The school ’ s short vacation keeps students from forgetting their learning and gives them more opportunities to learn .
Vacations should be longer because kids should see their family members who live in faraway lands .
Kids also need a long time to get out of the schedule for school to have time to rest . Having shorter vacations doesn ’ t give you enough time to readjust your schedule .
When having longer vacations , there is more time to develop your autonomy . By going into a long summer camp , maybe you can learn how to lead others , or by going on a trip you can learn a skill or find something you like . There are so many benefits of having longer vacations .
