Brawl Stars is a rock ’ em sock ’ em fighting game that was released on June 15 , 2017 , for kids aged 12 and above . Players can battle online , with AI , or team-up . Its graphics are cartoonish , and the gameplay is extremely addictive .
Because of how addictive this game is I noticed my GPA dip slightly after picking it up - so proceed with caution !
Graphics
The first thing that surprised me was the fantastic visual quality of the game . It has a 60-fps cap , it is 3D and smooth ; not even a single pixel is missing . I could tell that every single brawler was designed very carefully . All the stages look clean . Overall , the game seems polished , although glitches / bugs sometimes occur during battles . The screen might suddenly freeze or just kick you out of the App . The company is trying to fix those bugs by releasing updates .
Features
There are thousands of unique features in Brawl Stars including many different kinds of Brawlers , skins , maps , and modes . The latest version has 52 brawlers . I like Colt the best because he has powerful weapons .
Players can get these characters in many ways . For example , by opening boxes after completing missions and collecting game money / gems . Each one of them has different , unique weapons and skins that you could purchase . You could also upgrade them with power points . If players are impatient , they could buy gems with real money . Players can team up or play against others online . Many different maps will slightly change every 2-4 days .
Availability
The game is for kids 12 and up , but many younger kids are playing by lying about their age . Kids talk about getting so addicted that they only care about the game . If you ’ re thinking about getting into this game , beware of how addictive and fun it is . I recommend this game to someone who can control their screen time without getting addicted .
