Students Say Lunch

Has Improved

Sodexo offers nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients . Their menu consists of a rotation of Asian and Western meals that not only provide nutrients and calories , but also , according to their website , approach food as “ fuel , therapy , and a way to connect the community .”

Athena Luo , 8th grade , reported that she did not always enjoy the school lunch last year . She ate because she was hungry , however , this year she feels like she can eat the school lunch for other reasons . “ Lunch has become much more pleasurable due to the different cooking style and food .”
8th grader Patris-Daciana Corduneanu says the food is “ much better now because it has more variety .”
Similarly , Jun-Min Mun , an 8th grader , said that last year , she would sometimes be hungry because she “ Just could not eat some of the food .” She said the choices are better and more appealing now .
As stated on the Sodexo website , they have spent more than 60 years improving the quality of their food . This includes improving the talents of their chefs , providing specialized training to their nutritionists and kitchen workers , and producing new recipes based on the newest culinary trends .
Sodexo has a presence in 80 countries , according to Wikipedia , and the company ’ s website claims that it serves 100 million customers per day and strives to improve the quality of life .
