SLEEP : IS HAVING 6-HOUR SLEEP AFFECTING YOUR ACADEMIC WORK ?

12 | SLAS TIMES umerous students today all across the world are not getting enough sleep . They get sleep less for a number of reasons . Most of the time , kids are under stress from their schoolwork . Students who don ’ t get enough sleep perform poorly in class .
In class , we can normally see the students whose eyes are virtually closed . Everyone has a different excuse for not paying attention in class . However , the majority of students point out assignments and exams as the reason . They were unable to sleep until dawn because of them . They were only given a few hours to sleep after finishing all the job . According to Centers for Diease Control and Prevention , 6 out of 10 middle schoolers don ’ t get enought sleep . 7 out of 10 high schoolars don ’ t get sufficient sleep . For middle and high school , the recommended amount of sleep is 8-10 hours per day . she couldn ’ t sleep for long . So , she got worse test scores . As she was so sleepy , she couldn ’ t focus on the class as well .
Additionally , students may have memory loss if they don ’ t get enough sleep . Sleep gives the brain time for memory encoding , during which the brain reorganizes and stores thoughts from the previous day . Insufficient sleep will cause memory recall to be less accurate .
Getting enough sleep is beneficial not only for our health but also for our academic performance . Students will demonstrate strong academic success as a result . Students who get enough sleep will participate more actively in class . Students who overstress at night tend to lack energy in the morning . They get plenty of restored energy when they get enough sleep . It ’ s also necessary for improving our memory .
Sleep and academic achievement are closely related . Students who don ’ t get enough sleep suffer negatively . Students ’ concentration periods are shorter as a result . For students , the capacity for concentration is essential . However , lack of sleep impairs students ’ capacity to concentrate . If you interfere zwith your concentration because you did not sleep , you may not be able to study for the test or complete your
Sleep is an indispensable factor to a human ’ s life . Especially , for students , sleep is crucial . However , due to many works , students can ’ t have enough sleep . It will lead to poor academic performance of students . Even now , people should understand about the significance of sleep and need to help students get enough sleep .
