INTERVIEW WITH MR. KOSAKA TSUYOSHI BY TARO IKEDA Recently, I interviewed Mr. Kosaka Tsuyoshi, who is from Yokohama, Japan. At Shanghai Livingston American School (SLAS), he teaches AP Japanese and home language Japanese. He has been in Shanghai for 6 years. Before he came to SLAS, he was at a Japanese High School in Shanghai teaching history. The main reason he moved to SLAS is because he wanted to learn about the American education system. He graduated from the prestigious University of Tokyo, the top university in Japan. His dream job is to manage his own school. A: My weakness is that I can’t be patient, but on the other hand,I don’t get angry easily. Q: Why did you come to Shanghai? A: I was in Tianjin, China, then I found out about Shanghai, so I came here and fell in love with this city. Therefore, I moved to Shanghai 6 years ago. Q: Who is your historical figure? A: My historical figure is Fredrick II because he is clever. Q: What are your hobbies and why? He was a Holy Roman Emperor and King of Sicily during the middle ages. Fredrick II was in the Sixth Crusades, A: I am interested in reading, traveling, and martial while being in the group he conquered several areas arts.
