REGIONAL CUISINE OF SHANGHAI

There are a lot of regional foods in China and all of
them have different particular taste to them. In
Beijing, near dongbei, people eat foods that are made
out of flour like baozi, dumpling, noodles, etc. In
sichuan people like to eat food that's really spicy such
as mapo tofu and spicy hotpot. But in Shanghai
people like to eat foods that are sweet, such as
tiaotougao, xiaolongbao, chifangao, yanduxian,
tanglianou, and etc.
xiaolongbao, not only are the colors are different, also
each color represent a different flavors of
xiaolongbao. Like the red one is Sze-Chuan flavor
(spicy), the yellow one is cheesy, and there are other
flavor like crab, black truffles, ginseng, foie gras, and
garlic. Nini Kim an 8th grader in SLAS said that, “These
flavors may not be as delicious as the original one,
but it’s worth a try.” In Paradise dynasty 乐天皇朝
they are really famous for xiaolongbaos and rainbow
xiaolongbao's.
