INTERVIEW WITH MRS. SUZANNE VAN BALVEREN BY PETER LEE I interviewed Mrs. Suzanne, she is a teacher at Shanghai Livingston American School (SLAS). She teaches Science, Chemistry, ESL Science and AP classes. She has lived in Shanghai for 5 months and she came to our school because she felt good about our school because everyone at SLAS has been very nice to her. being in Shanghai? M.S: I came to Shanghai because my husband moved his job here. I sometimes enjoy living here but sometimes I don`t enjoy is because there`s no nature and clean air in the citiy P: What was your job before you have moved to Shanghai? Peter: What is your job in SLAS? M.S: I was a Science teacher in a small school in Ireland. Ms. Suzanne: My job at SLAS is a teacher. I teach ESL I taught small children science Science, science, AP classes. Also, an advisor to student council, P : Do you like your classes at SLAS? M.S: Yes!! I really like my students and my school P: What are your responsibilities at SLAS because they are so active. They are very enthusiastic M.S: My roll in SLAS is teaching students and also in my classes. leading students in student council. P: What are your plans for SLAS? P: What is your hobby? M.S: My plan at SLAS is to build more labs because I M.S: I only have one hobby. It is, lacrosse.
