WINTER CONCERT BRINGS SEMESTER TO END

The 2015 Secondary Winter Concert was hosted at
Livingston American School on December 11, 2015.
The secondary students had prepared many
performances for other students, teachers, and
parents to enjoy. Actually, there were several Winter
Concerts at SLAS. There was a concert put on by the
Early Years, Primary and Secondary departments at
the school. Furthermore, there were additional
performances by the Korean and Japanese
kindergartens. performances so that the hallways were crowded with
students at 5pm. The students who performed were
from band/orchestra classes, choir class, dance class,
drama class, and all the fine art classes at our school.
In the true spirit of Christmas, some SLAS students
who are not in fine arts classes volunteered to help
out. These kind individuals helped the event go on
and were rewarded with community service hours. As
always, the concert finished with a cascade of cheers
and claps from the audience.
“The students went out had a great performance.
They learned what they had to and the performances
where entertaining!” said Mr. Hector Flores,
Journalism teacher. He added, “I enjoyed the
performances, although I had to take photos during
the event.” “I think it went pretty well. The students were excited
to get on stage but also very relieved when it was all
said and done!” added Mr. Rodel.
The 2015 Winter Concert was a success for all involved,
from early years to high school. The audience had a
great time and were appreciative, they acknowledged

during school day and again after school at 6 p.m. so
many students simply stayed at school between
