10 RECOMMENDED WONDERS OF SHANGHAI BY ASHIM SAPKOTA There are many places to visit around Shanghai and several common places where most students go. Some of these are famous and well known, but a few of these joyful places are less known.Many of these places may bring an astonishing view, breath taking monuments, or the beauty of modern architecture. This makes them all special and worth going to. 1. Hong Mei Road(line 10 Long Xi Road) This is a foreign food street. This is where foreigners like to find the cuisine that are suitable for them. Also other cuisinefrom other regions around the world to enjoy where one can taste new flavors onehave never tasted before. It is also a very big socializing area . “ There are many Japanese and Korean families around the area,” said TaishiTakemoto a 9th grade student. The last major one is in Yi Yuan but it is mostly filled with homemade product instead of fake. “ You can buy branded products for a cheaper price and also bargain for them,” said Han Jin Yong,a 10th grade student. 7. Bailain Xi Jiao (line 2 Bei Xing Jing station) It is one of the closest malls to school. It is not famous but it is still a popular place for students at Shanghai Livingston American School to go. The Bund (line 2 Nan Jin Xi Lu station) This is the PuXi port of the Huang Pu River. It is filled with British architecture from when the British came.
