hoaxes . As we started in 2007 , we encounter geocentric vs heliocentric issues , 2012 hoax , Mars hoax , Moon landing hoax , Tetrad Lunar Eclipse hoax , Solar Eclipse as a sign of the world cataclysm , Flat Earth and many more . As we grow up , we are evolving not only to provide astronomy resources but also to introduce that science is fun and doable and everyone can do it . And to fulfill this , langitselatan presence is not limited to online presence but we also organized offline activities such as seminar , workshop , star party , storytelling , sidewalk astronomy ,
solar observation , astronomy in class session , and do it yourself activities with children . In 2007 , langitselatan initiated the first astronomy community gathering in Indonesia , and later on arranged several expeditions to observe the Annular and Total Solar Eclipse and also the Transit of Venus . Our first trip was in 2009 Annular Solar Eclipse and the last one is for 2019 Annular Eclipse , just before the pandemic .
