Astronomy keeps dreams alive

Astronomy is the oldest of the sciences . Observing the sky has always fascinated the human being . A beautiful starry night awakens noble feelings in our hearts . The bright and smiling moon , our planet ’ s companion , when it appears on the horizon , illuminates the environment and refreshes the soul . It changes moods and transforms the landscape . The artists , with their colorful verses , perfumed melodies and sparkling by Marcelo de Oliveira Souza
paintings , dress our spirit with passionate visions of the sky . Passionate couples in their nightly encounters are inspired by the ethereal soft aromas that reach from the firmament to their sensitive and admired eyes . Who has never been moved by observing the firmament ? How many mysteries ... How many stories ... Our curiosity made that from simple bright points , which the observer calls indistinctly stars , appear objects with shapes and colors unimaginable . A spectacle that nature preserved for the first dreamers , lovers of the Universe . With the aid of instruments we can distinguish in every corner of our field of view , planets , galaxies , nebulae , star clusters , .... Every day , with the use of new technological resources , we are surprised by new revelations . All over the world there are groups of people who come together frequently to make observations of the sky . In big cities the large public artificial lighting turn very difficult to observe the beautiful of the sky . Going to regions a little further away from the big centers , we still managed to have a splendid view of the celestial vault .
The dream of many people to be able to get closer to the stars we have observed , has helped our civilization . The development of new technologies with the objective of making possible the conquest of space , has led to the emergence of equipment that are present in our daily lives . Many young people felt interest in scientific research arose through participation in astronomy clubs . Astronomy makes it possible for us not to lose our childhood curiosity and to not let our dreams disappear . Despite all the problems we have been through , we cannot allow that dreamy child that existed within each one of us to disappear . The present and the future that arise need creative and independent people . We will only live in a better world if we have as citizens , people who think and create solutions to our problems . We are currently experiencing a very special moment . We hope for a cure or an effective treatment for a serious pandemic caused by a virus . The scientific knowledge accumulated by humanity in a few millennia of civilization allows us to imagine these possibilities . Science is the most powerful tool developed by humanity . Life with its dynamics transforms paradigms and surprises us every moment . In the areas of Astronomy and Astronautics we are surprised at all times with wonderful announcements of sensational discoveries and the development of fantastic equipment . Sky ’ s Up Magazine aims to be a space where you will find accurate and quality information about Astronomy and Astronautics . We wish you a pleasant journey through the Universe while reading our magazine . You will always be welcome !!! Clear skies for everyone !
