Starting out his business life as a third generation strawberry famer, Nathan made the switch to UAVs after losing 700 tons of strawberry crop to rain and weather damage. With his extended family switching to turf farming, Nathan decided the time had come to explore his interest in UAVs and to see if he could forge a business from his hobby.
Ordering his first UAV frame from eBay whilst sitting in the cab of his tractor, Nathan looked out over his expanse of land and wondered if the spreading of preferential insects, a job normally done by hand on his farm, could be better managed from a suitably designed and built UAV.
