EDITOR’S LETTER
Is spring finally here? That was one long winter!
Spring is one of my favourite times of year and
daffodils are my favourite flower. My six-year-
old knows this so she always makes a point of
making me cards with daffodils on them, and
this year they were the focus of my Mother’s
Day gift from her, which makes them even
more special. They bring with them the promise
of warmer weather and days out, and that’s
always something to look forward to. Something
else spring often brings is new skin care regimes.
The cold weather ‘should’ be far behind us,
along with central heating, and this can have
an instant impact on our skin. The dryness, and
often redness associated with it, starts to nat-
urally disappear negating the need for the
thicker, hydrating creams we may have been
using during the winter. Now is the time to
start using more lightweight lotions and gels,
and maybe even a multi-tasking product. Check
out our feature article, The Beauty of a Multi-
tasker, to find out if this suits you.
I’m excited to tell you that we’ve been talking
to founder and make-up artist, Susan Posnick
herself about common mistakes we make with
our foundation. She gives us some top, profes-
sional tips on getting your foundation looking
flawless so don’t forget to check out her advice
over on page 18
I had the pleasure of interviewing Julien Azen-
cott, the Founder of CODAGE, at Profession-
al Beauty in London earlier this year. Julien was
a delight to interview and his passion for helping
people achieve their skin health goals really sets
CODAGE apart. It has a unique proposition
as it lets you become your own mixologist by
following three simple steps where each step
is tailored to your skin type or condition. Find
out more on page 26
And finally, we feature a stand out product that’s
new to the market. Our Beauty Editor, Danielle,
has been trialling the new Antioxidant Power
Serum from ZENii. Containing an impressive
20% L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), 2% Niaci-
namide, 1% Vitamin E, 1% Ferulic Acid and
0.5% Pro-Vitamin B5, this product packs a
huge antioxidant punch! Go over to page 36
for the full feature.
Happy reading!
