EDITOR’S LETTER
I
t’s the start of another new year and this
one is even more exciting! Our sister
company, Effortless Skin, has recently
relaunched as Skincity UK. :)
Already established in Scandinavia as the
leading online skin care clinic, Skincity offers
a carefully chosen range of professional skin
care brands such as NeoStrata, Epionce,
SkinCeuticals, PRIORI, SENSAI, Paula’s
Choice, and Osmosis, with many more brands
to be confirmed later this year.
I am so excited about this change because
Skincity’s concept is so unique to anything
seen before in the UK. Customers are able to
take in-depth online skin tests to determine
their skin type and condition, shortly after
receiving a detailed skin analysis carried out
by professionally trained skin therapists, ensur-
ing each regime is completely customised to
individual customers’ needs. It completely
takes away the stress, hassle and time of visit-
ing salons and clinics. Try it out. Visit Skincity.
co.uk. I would love to know your thoughts.
This issue is packed full of incredible articles
and interviews with some truly inspiring
people from the beauty industry. We have had
the pleasure of interviewing Paula Begoun,
founder of Paula’s Choice Skincare and inter-
nationally-recognised, best-selling author of
over 20 books, most notably ‘The Original
Beauty Bible’. Paula shares her story of how
she came to work in the beauty industry,
launch her own line of skincare, and pen her
first book.
Leslie Harris, Global General Manager of
SkinCeuticals at L’Oreal, gives us the fasci-
nating history of cosmeceuticals and the
science behind healthy skin. And our Beauty
Editor, Danielle, looks at the skin’s microbi-
ome, and why the size of molecules in our
skincare products makes a big difference.
I am always interested in hearing your
thoughts on Skin Health and its articles, and
of course, any suggestions you may have on
what else we can offer.
Happy reading!
