shot you forward while the other was more of
an actual jump ramp that sent you flying up
in the air. The second to last day I was there
I decided to try my hand at the lake launch.
I was actually really nervous because despite
the fact that I was going straight into water,
I had never skated off a ramp of that size; to
make matters more nerve wrecking, the des-
ignated board was tiny with trucks tightened
to the max. After three attempts and landing
completely upside down on one of them, I
decided to call it even.
